Ground Floor Solutions; Rockfloor can be used either below the ground bearing slab or above the concrete slab, below screed or chipboard floor finish. Placing the Rockfloor below the concrete slab allows the concrete slab to act as a "thermal store" helping maintain steady temperatures within the building
Partition Walls; Internal walls that form rooms within the same dwellings are usually made up of lightweight partitions formed from metal or timber studs. Lightweight partitions can achieve high levels of sound insulation when the correct balance of plasterboard, frame and Rockwool products are selected.
Using Rockwool solutions, such as full fill Cavity batts and cavity barriers within the wall cavity will also prevent fire spread through the building envelope. For fire prevention solutions visit our FirePro range.
